Prince Bernard was born in Roxborough,Tobago.This Island is separated from Trinidad by the Carribean Sea.While growing up His mother died when he was only 10 years old leaving him no choice than to live with his father in Trinidad which was right across the Caribbean Sea.At the age of  5 he started playing the harmonica in church.As he grew older he really loved the sound of music so much that he deciced to pursue music as a career.Prince Bernard learned to play the steel drum as well as other percussion instruments and by the time that he was 21 years of age he was playing with the number one  Steel Drum Band on the island.The passion and energy from his music inspired him to start his own band.Prince bernard took part in many multi-cultural activities such as folk dancing and singing.It was then that he met Mr.Patrick Arnold and began playing with his band Our Boys and travled all over the United States.After touring in California we decided to stop in San Francisco.Prince Bernard was inspired by a musician named Patrick Prescott to and stayed focused with his steel drum playing.Prince Bernard moved to Southern California where he started his entertainment company Sweet Caribbean Music Entertainment. Four decades later The FanTastic Pan-Man Prince Bernard the Los Angeles based Trinidad & Tobago steel drum artist continues to entertain and inspiring fans around the world.
